VDC FUNCTION, TCS FUNCTION, hill start assist FUNCTION AND BRAKE FORCE DISTRIBUTION FUNCTION

VDC warning lamp in combination meter turns ON when a malfunction occurs in system [ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit)]. The control is suspended for VDC function, TCS function, hill start assist function and Brake force distribution function. The vehicle status becomes the same as models without VDC function, TCS function, hill start assist function and Brake force distribution function. However, ABS function and EBD
function are operated normally.

ABS FUNCTION

ABS warning lamp and VDC warning lamp in combination meter turn ON when a malfunction occurs in system
[ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit)]. The control is suspended for VDC function, TCS function, ABS
function, hill start assist function and Brake force distribution function. The vehicle status becomes the same as models without VDC function, TCS function, ABS function, hill start assist function and Brake force distribution function. However, EBD function is operated normally.
NOTE:
ABS self-diagnosis sound may be heard the same as in the normal condition because self-diagnosis is performed when ignition switch turns ON and when vehicle initially starts.

EBD FUNCTION

ABS warning lamp, brake warning lamp and VDC warning lamp in combination meter turn ON when a malfunction occurs in system [ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit)]. The control is suspended for VDC
function, TCS function, ABS function, EBD function, hill start assist function and Brake force distribution function. The vehicle status becomes the same as models without VDC function, TCS function, ABS function, EBD
function, hill start assist function and Brake force distribution function.

ACTIVE TRACE CONTROL FUNCTION

- Intelligent brake assistance OFF indicator lamp turns ON when a malfunction occurs in the system [ABS
actuator and electric unit (control unit)]. The control is suspended for Active trace control function. The vehicle becomes the same as models without Active trace control function.

CAUTION:
Lamp ON condition of intelligent brake assistance OFF indicator lamp is that intelligent brake assistance OFF switch is in the pressed and not turned ON status.
- Mode is fixed to the mode when a malfunction occurs if CAN communication malfunction (DTC "U1000", DTC "U1010", DTC "U0424") occurs between ADAS control unit and A/C auto AMP. The mode is fixed to
STANDARD mode after ignition switch turns OFF to ON.
