Washer Level Switch Signal Circuit

WASHER LEVEL SWITCH SIGNAL CIRCUIT

Description

Transmits the washer fluid level switch signal to the combination meter.


Diagnosis Procedure

Regarding Wiring Diagram information, refer to "Wiring Diagram With Intelligent Cruise Control" With Intelligent Cruise Control or
"Wiring Diagram Without Intelligent Cruise Control" Without Intelligent Cruise Control.

1. CHECK WASHER FLUID LEVEL SWITCH SIGNAL CIRCUIT

1.Turn ignition switch OFF.
2.Disconnect combination meter harness connector M24 and washer fluid level switch harness connector
E208.
3.Check continuity between combination meter harness connector M24 and washer fluid level switch harness connector E208.





4.Check continuity between combination meter harness connector and ground.





Is the inspection result normal?
YES- GO TO 2.
NO- Repair or replace harness or connectors.

2. CHECK WASHER FLUID LEVEL SWITCH GROUND CIRCUIT

Check continuity between washer fluid level switch connector and ground.





Is the inspection result normal?
YES- Inspection End.
NO- Repair or replace harness or connectors.


Component Inspection


1. CHECK WASHER FLUID LEVEL SWITCH

1.Turn ignition switch OFF.
2.Disconnect washer fluid level switch connector.
3.Check washer fluid level switch.

YES- Inspection End.
NO- Replace washer fluid level switch. Refer to "Removal and Installation" Service and Repair.
