The Meter Control Switch Is Inoperative

THE METER CONTROL SWITCH IS INOPERATIVE

Description

The meter control switches are inoperative when pressed.


Diagnosis Procedure


1. CHECK METER CONTROL SWITCH SIGNAL

Check the meter control switch signal. Refer to "Diagnosis Procedure" Meter Control Switch Signal Circuit.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES- GO TO 2.
NO- Repair or replace harness or connectors.

2. CHECK METER CONTROL SWITCH

Perform a unit check for the meter control switch. Refer to "Component Inspection" Meter Control Switch Signal Circuit.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES- Replace combination meter. Refer to "Removal and Installation" Service and Repair.
NO- Replace meter control switch. Refer to "Removal and Installation" Meter Control Switch.
