DTC DETECTION LOGIC







DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE


1. PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

With CONSULT
1.Turn ignition switch ON.
2.Select "Self Diagnostic Result" mode of "HVAC" using CONSULT.
3.Check DTC.
Is DTC detected?
YES- Refer to "Diagnosis Procedure" .
NO- INSPECTION END


Diagnosis Procedure


1. CHECK REAR MODE DOOR MOTOR COMMUNICATION SIGNAL

1.Turn ignition switch ON.
2.Check output waveform between rear mode door motor harness connector and ground with the oscilloscope.





Is the inspection result normal?
YES- GO TO 2.
NO- GO TO 3.

2. CHECK INSTALLATION OF REAR MODE DOOR MOTOR CONTROL LINKAGE

Check rear mode door motor control linkage is properly installed. Refer to "Exploded View" Door Motor.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES- Replace rear mode door motor. Refer to "REAR MODE DOOR MOTOR : Removal and Installation" Rear Mode Door Motor.
NO- Repair or replace malfunctioning part.

3. CHECK REAR MODE DOOR MOTOR COMMUNICATION SIGNAL CIRCUIT

1.Turn ignition switch OFF.
2.Disconnect rear mode door motor and A/C auto amp. connector.
3.Check continuity between rear mode door motor harness connector and A/C auto amp. harness connector.





Is the inspection result normal?
YES- Replace A/C auto amp. Refer to "Removal and Installation" Service and Repair.
NO- Repair harness or connector.
