Front Mode Door Motor

POWER SUPPLY AND GROUND CIRCUIT

FRONT MODE DOOR MOTOR : Diagnosis Procedure


1. CHECK FRONT MODE DOOR MOTOR POWER SUPPLY

1.Turn ignition switch ON.
2.Check voltage between front mode door motor harness connector and ground.





Is the inspection result normal?
YES- GO TO 2.
NO- GO TO 4.

2. CHECK FRONT MODE DOOR MOTOR GROUND CIRCUIT

1.Turn ignition switch OFF.
2.Disconnect front mode door motor connector.
3.Check continuity between front mode door motor harness connector and ground.





Is the inspection result normal?
YES- GO TO 3.
NO- Repair harness or connector.

3. CHECK INSTALLATION OF FRONT MODE DOOR MOTOR CONTROL LINKAGE

Check front mode door motor control linkage is properly installed. Refer to "Exploded View" Door Motor.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES- Replace front mode door motor. Refer to "MODE DOOR MOTOR : Removal and Installation" Mode Door Motor.
NO- Repair or replace malfunctioning part.

4. CHECK FRONT MODE DOOR MOTOR POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT

1.Turn ignition switch OFF.
2.Disconnect front mode door motor connector and A/C auto amp. connector.
3.Check continuity between front mode door motor harness connector and A/C auto amp. harness connector.





Is the inspection result normal?
YES- Replace A/C auto amp. Refer to "Removal and Installation" Service and Repair.
NO- Repair harness or connector.
