Rear Mode Door Motor

POWER SUPPLY AND GROUND CIRCUIT

REAR MODE DOOR MOTOR : Diagnosis Procedure


1. CHECK REAR MODE DOOR MOTOR POWER SUPPLY

1.Turn ignition switch ON.
2.Check voltage between rear mode door motor harness connector and ground.





Is the inspection result normal?
YES- GO TO 2.
NO- GO TO 4.

2. CHECK REAR MODE DOOR MOTOR GROUND CIRCUIT

1.Turn ignition switch OFF.
2.Disconnect rear mode door motor connector.
3.Check continuity between rear mode door motor harness connector and ground.





Is the inspection result normal?
YES- GO TO 3.
NO- Repair harness or connector.

3. CHECK INSTALLATION OF REAR MODE DOOR MOTOR CONTROL LINKAGE

Check rear mode door motor control linkage is properly installed. Refer to "Exploded View" Door Motor.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES- Replace rear mode door motor. Refer to "REAR MODE DOOR MOTOR : Removal and Installation" Rear Mode Door Motor.
NO- Repair or replace malfunctioning part.

4. CHECK REAR MODE DOOR MOTOR POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT

1.Turn ignition switch OFF.
2.Disconnect rear mode door motor connector and A/C auto amp. connector.
3.Check continuity between rear mode door motor harness connector and A/C auto amp. harness connector.





Is the inspection result normal?
YES- Replace A/C auto amp. Refer to "Removal and Installation" Service and Repair.
NO- Repair harness or connector.
