Curb Idle Adjust

1. Apply parking brake and block drive wheels.
2. Start engine and allow to reach normal operating temperature, then place transmission in Neutral position.
3. Place A/C in the Off position, if equipped, then connect suitable tachometer and check engine speed.

4. If engine speed is not as specified, loosen idle speed adjusting screw locknut and turn adjusting screw in or out until specified speed is obtained, Fig. 9.
