Models W/4 Wheel Disc Brakes, Removal & Installation

1. Raise and support rear of vehicle.
2. Remove tire and wheel assembly.
3. Disconnect and cap brake line, then remove brake caliper from rotor.
4. Remove brake disc rotor.
5. Remove axle shaft attaching nuts and bolts.
6. Remove axle shaft, snap ring, retainer, bearing holder and bearing.
7. Reverse procedure to install. During installation of retainer, heat retainer to approximately 302°F in a suitable oil heater.
