TIRES & WHEELS

VEHICLES AFFECTED

All P'UP (KB) 4-wheel drive and Trooper II (KT) models.

SERVICE INFORMATION

Whenever possible, all 4 tires on a 4-wheel drive vehicle should be replaced at the same time. While the replacements may differ from the original equipment tires, all 4 replacement tires should not differ from each other. That is, the truck should be equipped with 4 tires which are exactly the same (manufacturer, model and size).
If this is not possible, observe the following guidelines when selecting replacement tires. Failure to follow these guidelines may affect vehicle operation.

1. Check the loaded radius of the mounted tire/wheel combination. Reputable tire dealers can supply this information for their products.

2. The loaded radius of the front tires can be smaller than that of the rear tires.

3. The loaded radius of the front tires must be no more than 103% of the loaded radius of the rear tires.
