This Service Bulletin contains the cruise control stalk replacement procedure for Section 4 of the following Workshop Manuals:

SERVICE PROCEDURE
Replace cruise control stalk as follows. Refer to Figures 1 and 2.
1. Remove horn button and steering wheel as outlined in the appropriate Workshop Manual.
2. Remove lower dash cover and its support bracket.
3. Remove lower steering wheel cowling.
4. Remove two 8 mm steering column fixing bolts.
5. Remove two 5 mm screws securing combination switch assembly to steering column.
6. Rotate the combination switch assembly approximately 45 degrees clockwise, and remove three screws securing the cruise control stalk to the combination switch assembly (Figure 2).
7. Remove two tie straps securing the cruise control harness to the main combination switch harness.
9. Disconnect the white cruise control connector (located halfway down the right side of the steering column).
9. Install the new cruise control stalk and secure it to the combination switch by reinstalling the three screws (Figure 2). Refer to the "Parts Information Section of this Service Bulletin.
10. Reconnect the white cruise control connector.
11. Secure the cruise control harness to the main combination switch harness by reinstalling the tie straps.
Replace the white 100 mm tie strap with a new one.
12. Rotate the combination switch assembly approximately 45 degrees counterclockwise (to the original position), and secure the combination switch to the steering column by reinstalling two 5 mm screws.
13. Reinstall two 8 mm steering column fixing bolts. Torque to 11-14 ft.lbs.
14. Reinstall the steering wheel cowling.
15. Reinstall the lower dash cover and its support bracket.
16. Reinstall the steering wheel and horn button as outlined in the appropriate Workshop Manual. Torque boils to 22-29 ft.lbs.
17. Test drive the vehicle to ensure the new cruise control stalk operates properly.
