SERVICE INFORMATION
American Isuzu Motors Inc. has been advised by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) that vehicles which have the odometer mileage adjusted to zero must have a label posted indicating the true mileage.
In order to comply with Federal law, after replacing a speedometer assembly, dealers must fill out an odometer label and install it onto the "B" pillar. The mileage written on the label must be the same as the odometer reading before speedometer replacement.
An odometer label is included in each new speedometer assembly. Additional labels we also available. (See the "Parts Information" section of this Service Bulletin.)
