1986-1987 P'UP (KB) and Trooper II (KT) models with 4ZD1 engine.
SERVICE INFORMATION ;fIf vehicle stalls when idling in cold or humid environmental conditions, the air intake door may not be operating properly. Because of varying tolerances from vehicle to vehicle, there may be excess vacuum hose length and the hose may be kinked. Inspect thevacuum hose as described in this Service Bulletin.

1. Locate the vacuum hose between the tee fitting and the thermo sensor. Remove the hose from the tee fitting.
2. Locate the vacuum hose between the tee fitting and the air intake manifold. Remove the hose from the tee fitting.
3. Make sure each hose is the correct length to reach all fittinf without kinking or stretching.
4. If necessary, cut a small amount from each hose to prevent kinking leaving the length of each hose sufficient to reach the tee fitting without slack Reinstall vacuum hoses to the tee fitting.
