Inspection
1. Clean all parts in suitable carburetor cleaner.
2. Inspect choke and float chambers for signs of cracks and damage.
3. Inspect choke and throttle shaft bores for wear.
4. Ensure choke valve operates freely.
5. Check power valve for leaks and the power valve rod for bending and smoothness of operation (if equipped).
6. Inspect jet threads, metering holes and mounting holes for damage.
7. Inspect choke for damage. Ensure float pin bore is not worn.
8. Inspect accelerator pump plunger for damage and distortion. Ensure plunger moves freely in bore.
9. Inspect accelerator pump rubber boot.
10. Ensure all fuel delivery ports are clear.
11. Ensure idle mixture adjusting screws are not worn or damaged.
12. Inspect diaphragm for signs of deterioration and damage.
13. Check solenoid(s) for loose attaching parts and damaged wiring.
