AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION WITH TRANSFER CASE
The AW3O-8OLE automatic transmission, which has been developed for the purpose of easy driving for off-road 4WD vehicles, is a 4-speed fully automatic transmission with an electronic control 4WD transfer.

The transfer consists of planetary gear, hydraulic clutch, and hydraulic brake. The operation of transfer is controlled by the transmission control computer so that maneuverability can be remarkably improved and also the TROOPER II can satisfy severe operating conditions of 4WD vehicles, including off-road performance and hill-climbing ability.
