Fig. 5 Adjusting Fast Idle Speed:

1. Check choke valve in the third stage of the fast idle cam as follows:
a. Set choke valve to the full open position.
b. Slowly open throttle lever while lightly pushing choke valve in the closing direction. Set choke valve to the third stage of the fast idle cam.
c. Check choke valve clearance. Clearance should be .086 inch. If clearance obtained is not as specified, remove automatic choke attaching rivet and bend choke housing lever. After adjustment is completed, install choke cover by riveting.
