DTC 14

Code 14-Shorted Coolant Sensor Circuit:

The engine must run 2 minutes before code 14 will set.

Check For Short Circuit:

1. Check for shorted temperature sensor circuit.

Check Resistance:

2. Check for grounded wire between ECM and sensor.

Check ECM Wires For Short:

3. Check for short between wires running from ECM to sensor.
