Fuel Pump: Service and Repair

Fuel Pump Assembly Exploded View:

Removal


1. Remove fuel tank.






2. Remove the mount screws then remove the fuel pump assembly from the fuel tank.
3. Remove the rubber insulator from the fuel pump assembly.






4. Remove the fuel pump from the fuel pump bracket assembly.






5. Remove the filter sock from the bottom of the fuel pump.

Installation

1. Insert the fuel pump into the fuel pump bracket assembly.
2. Install the filter sock to the bottom of the fuel pump.
3. Install the rubber insulator to the bottom of the fuel pump assembly.
4. Insert the fuel pump assembly into the fuel tank.
5. Install the mount screws.
6. Install fuel tank.
