SERVICE INFORMATION

When installing the flywheel to the crankshaft, Loctite 262 or equivalent must be applied to the flywheel
bolt threads (Figure 1) before installation, in order to prevent oil leakage. If this procedure is not performed, an oil leak will occur in this area, which may sometimes be mistaken for a rear main seal leak.
