RODEO (UC), TROOPER II (KT) AND PICKUP (TF) CRUISE CONTROL SWITCH INOPERATIVE (This Service Bulletin supercedes SB91-04-009, to correct detent pin and spring location.)

AFFECTED VEHICLES

1988-91 Rodeo (UC), Trooper II (KT) and Pickup (TF) models equipped with cruise control.

SERVICE INFORMATION

On affected vehicles, the cruise control switch detent pins may become worn, causing the switch to become inoperative. Replacing the detent pins will restore cruise control switch operation. For case of repair, a cruise control switch repair kit (see "Parts Information" section of this Service Bulletin) provides new components for the cruise control switch. All of the repair kit components should be installed, to ensure proper cruise control switch operation.

This Service Bulletin contains the procedure for installing the new cruise control switch components provided in the repair kit.
