Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

Main Fuse And ECM Harness Connections:

Cleaning of Memory
After completion of service, clear the trouble codes stored in memory by disconnecting the No. 3 fuse (in the instrument panel fuse box) or the battery cable, for at least 10 seconds.

Removing the main fuse (60A - in engine compartment fuse and relay box) clears the trouble code also.

NOTE:
1. All codes stored in memory are cleared automatically whenever the 14 pin ECM harness is disconnected.
2. After clearing the memory, it may be necessary to reset electronic accessories such as digital clocks and radios.
