Throttle Position Switch: Adjustments

- Open throttle valve.

Throttle Stop Screw:

- Place a 0.024 in (0.6 mm) feeler gauge on top of stop screw and close linkage onto feeler gauge.
- Remove wiring connector from throttle switch.

Throttle Valve Switch:

- Connect ohmmeter to pin P and pin I. Ohmmeter should show continuity (closed circuit).
- If ohmmeter does not show continuity, loosen throttle valve switch mounting screws slightly and rotate switch just to point where continuity is attained.
- Tighten screws.

NOTE: Continuity should stop immediately after throttle pedal is pressed.

- Move ohmmeter lead from pin I to pin F and verify that continuity exists with throttle linkage wide open.
