MAP Sensor

MAP Sensor Testing:

- With engine at operating temperature, run at idle.
- Disconnect vacuum hose "A" at MAP sensor and plug hose.
- Connect circuit tester leads across terminals "1" and "2" at rear of MAP sensor connector. Tester should indicate more than 2.5V.
- Reconnect vacuum hose "A." Voltage across terminals "1" and "2" should indicate less than 2.5V.
- Replace the MAP sensor if voltage readings are out of specification.
