Seat Belt, Lights-on and Key-In Ignition Warning System
Key-In Ignition WarningWhen the key warning switch is closed, battery voltage is applied to the RED wire of the remind buzzer control unit. With a door open, ground is provided at the RED/GRN wire of the remind buzzer control unit and the remind buzzer control unit sounds.
Seat Belt Warning
With the ignition switch in ON or START, battery voltage is applied to the seat belt warning light from fuse 7. With the driver's seat belt unbuckled, the remind buzzer control unit senses ground at the GRN/ORN wire. With the ignition key in the ON position, the seat belt warning light flashes for four to eight seconds. Also, if the driver's seat belt is unbuckled, the remind buzzer control unit will sound for the same amount of time.
Lights-ON Warning
When the ignition key is turned to the OFF position and the park lights are ON, the light switch applies battery voltage to the remind buzzer control unit at the GRN/RED wire. When a door is opened, the remind buzzer control unit receives a ground at the RED/GRN wire, and the remind buzzer control unit will sound until the lights are turned OFF.
