REASSEMBLY

INSPECTION AND REPAIR
Make necessary correction or replace parts if wear, damage or any other abnormal conditions are found through inspection.





Distributor cap
- Inspect the distributor cap for cracking, burning, corrosion and wear.
(1) Electrode (cable side)
(2) Side electrodes
(3) Center contact carbon point
(4) Rotor assembly





Cleaning the rotor plate
- Take out two screws fixing the rotor plate cover, then remove it. Using a soft brush, clean the rotor plate in the angle signal port area and blow away any foreign particles.

NOTE:
- The distributor body assembly is of an integral design and cannot be disassembled.
The entire distributor assembly must be replaced if service becomes necessary.
