PICKUP (TF) WRONG IDENTIFICATION ON ECM

AFFECTED VEHICLES

1994 Pickup (TF) models equipped with 4ZD1 engine.

SERVICE INFORMATION

Engine Control Modules (ECM) manufactured in 1994 and installed on affected vehicles are identified CAL on the identification label to show they are calibrated to California emission standards. Furthermore, when interrogated by a Tech-1 scan tool, these ECMs also read as California emission standard-calibrated units.

Regardless of the notation shown on the ECM identification label or displayed on the Tech-1, these ECMs are fully compliant with all Federal emission standards.
