1. Fully open the primary throttle valve (1).
2. Measure the clearance (A) between the choke valve (2) and the choke valve chamber wall. If the measured clearance is outside the specified range, adjust it by carefully bending the adjusting lever tang (B).

Clearance: 2.7 - 3.3mm (0.105 - 0.129 in.)
