Fuel Cut-Off System

PREPARATION
1. Start and warm up the Engine thoroughly.
2. Turn the Ignition Switch to the "LOCK" position.




3. Disconnect Wide Open Throttle Switch harnesses at connector, insert a Fused Jumper Wire into the Idle Terminal (upper), then make connections at the connector with the wire pulled part way out.

INSPECTION
1. Keep Engine running at 2,000 - 2,500 rpm.




2. Check to make certain Engine speed lowers to approximately 1,250 rpm when Battery voltage is applied to the wire extending from the Idle Terminal.

NOTE: Engine hunting may occur at the speed of 1,250 rpm or so, but it does not indicate abnormal conditions.




Fuel cut-off and reinjection are controlled by the Throttle Switch.
