With the starter switch in ACC or ON, battery voltage is applied to the radio from fuse C-11. When you turn the radio ON, battery voltage is applied to the receiver circuits in the radio. Fuse C-17 is hot at all times and provides battery voltage to the radio for its memory circuits.
