Sensor Resistance Check

Measurement of Resistance in Sensor
Disconnect Sensor Harnesses at Connector and measure the resistance across the Sensor Terminals.




NOTE: Although the resistance varies with the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT), normal condition is indicated when measured resistance falls within the range shown.

If the measured resistance deviates from the specified range, replace ECT Sensor.








If abnormal condition is indicated, correct or replace applicable harnesses.
