Fuel Enrichment For Engine Start and/or Warm-Up

DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION
When the Engine is started and/or is warmed up, the Engine Control Module (ECM) starts working to enrich the air/fuel ratio of the air/fuel mixture. This is accomplished by the work of the injector valves according to the signal fed from the ECM. In such a particular case where the Engine is started and/or is warmed up in cold weather, extra air is provided by the air regulator in addition to the air/fuel enrichment mentioned above. The air flow rate first set by the Air Regulator to match its surrounding temperature is changed best to suit to the specific condition of the Engine operation. This is accomplished by optimum changing the Air Valve opening within the air regulator by means of the bi-metal to work with the electric heater.
