Fuel Tank Removal and Installation

REMOVAL
Preparation: Disconnect Battery Ground Cable.
Loosen Fuel Filler Cap and drain Fuel.

1. Disconnect the Fuel Pump Connector and Fuel Gauge Connector.
2. Remove Undercover Fixing Bolts.
3. Remove Undercover.
4. Disconnect the EVAP Fuel Line from Fuel Tank.
5. Disconnect the Fuel Filler and Air Breather Hose.
6. Disconnect Feed and Return Fuel Lines.
7. Remove Fuel Tank.

INSTALLATION
To install, follow the removal steps in the reverse order.

7. Install Fuel Tank.Tighten the Fuel Tank Fixing Bolts to specified torque.

Torque 36 N.m (27 lb.ft)

6. Connect Feed and Return Fuel Line.
5. Connect Fuel Filler and Air Breather Hose.
4. Connect EVAP Fuel Line.
3. Install Undercover.
2. Install Undercover Fixing Bolts.
1. Connect the Wiring Connectors.
