Dealer Service Procedure

1. Remove the adhesive backing from the new sun visor air bag warning label (Part No. 2-90028-710-0).





2. Carefully position the label directly over the existing sun visor air bag warning label (Figure 1). Press down firmly on the label to secure it in place. Press down firmly on all edges of the label to ensure a proper bond.

3. Repeat the previous steps to affix the remaining sun visor air bag warning label.

4. Remove the adhesive backing from the dash air bag warning label (Part No. 2-90028-730-0).





5. Carefully position the label over the glove box face (Trooper and Rodeo models) or dash compartment face (Oasis models), as shown in Figure 2. Press down firmly on the label to secure it. in place. Press down firmly on all edges of the label to ensure a proper bond.

IMPORTANT!
This dash air bag warning label may be removed only by the retail customer. Once this dash label is applied, it must remain affixed until after the vehicle is sold.

6. Insert an ABC Card (Part No. 2-90028-720-0) into the vehicle glove box packet. See sample of ABC Card attached to this Service Bulletin.

7. Complete the Air Bag Dealer Payment Form using the instructions listed on the back of the form (see Dealer Reimbursement Information section).
