Arming

1. Turn ignition Off and remove key.
2. Connect passenger air bag four-pin yellow connector.
3. Install instrument panel compartment door assembly.
4. Connect driver air bag yellow connector at steering column base.

5. Install SRS fuses C21, C22, C23 and C24, Fig. 1, then connect battery ground cable.
6. Turn ignition On and note air bag lamp operation. Lamp should flash seven times, then go off. If lamp does not function as outlined, a condition in SRS is present.
