IGNITION CABLE REPLACEMENT
Ignition cable routings must be kept intact during service and followed exactly when ignition cables have been disconnected or when replacement of the ignition cables is necessary. Failure to route the ignition cables properly can lead to radio ignition noise and crossfiring of the plugs, or shorting of the leads to ground. The correct routing is shown in Figures 2 and 3.
