Turn Signal Switch: Service and Repair
1. On models equipped with airbag system, refer to Technician Safety Information for system disarming and arming procedures.2. Disconnect battery ground.
3. Remove steering wheel as outlined under Steering Wheel.
4. Disconnect two wire straps from steering column wire harness.

5. Disconnect bulkhead connector from vehicle wire harness, Fig. 1.
6. Disconnect gray and black wires of combination/multi-function switch from bulkhead.
7. Remove two pan head tapping screws.
8. Remove combination/multi-function switch.
9. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Torque pan head screws to 53 inch lbs.
b. When installing combination/multi-function switch onto steering column, compress electrical contact with small blade screwdriver and move into position.
10. On models equipped with airbag system, refer to Technician Safety Information for system disarming and arming procedures.
