Axle Vent Hose Replacement

NOTE: The axle vent assembly is located on the right side of the axle carrier.

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT





1. Vent clamp bolt.
2. Vent hose from the axle nipple.
3. Vent assembly from the vent hose.
4. Vent hanger clip from the vent hose.
5. Hose clamp from the vent hose.

INSTALL OR CONNECT





Use a neoprene-type replacement vent hose.
1. Hose clamp to the vent hose.
2. Vent hanger clip to the vent hose.
3. Vent assembly to the vent hose.
4. Vent hose to the axle nipple.
- Make sure the vent clamp is installed over the axle nipple and that the hose is not twisted or kinked.
5. Vent clamp bolt.
- Tighten
Bolt to 16 Nm (12 ft. lbs.).
