Center Mounted Brake Lamp: Service and Repair

Remove or Disconnect
1. Negative battery cable.
2. Dome lamp lens by squeezing lens to release tabs.
3. Dome lamp bulb.
4. Screws that retain the dome lamp base to the Center High-Mounted Stop Lamp (CHMSL) from inside the vehicle.
5. Dome lamp base from the vehicle.
6. Dome lamp/CHMSL electrical connector.
7. CHMSL from the vehicle.




Install or Connect
1. CHMSL to the vehicle.
2. Dome lamp/CHMSL electrical connector.
3. Dome lamp base to the vehicle.
4. Screws that retain the dome lamp base to the CHMSL from inside the vehicle.

Tighten
^ Screws to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in)

5. Dome lamp bulb.
6. Dome lamp lens by squeezing lens to engage tabs.
7. Negative battery cable.
