Tail Lamp: Service and Repair

Remove or Disconnect
^ Make sure the headlamp switch is in the OFF position.
^ Make sure the ignition switch is in the LOCK position.
1. Lower the tailgate.
2. Screws that retain the tail lamp assembly to the vehicle.
3. Tail lamp assembly from the vehicle.
4. Bulb sockets from the tail lamp assembly by rotating them 1/4 turn counterclockwise.
5. Bulb(s) from the socket(s).




Install or Connect
1. Bulb(s) to the socket(s).
2. Bulb sockets to the tail lamp assembly by inserting and rotating them 1/4 turn clockwise.
3. Tail lamp assembly to the vehicle.
4. Screws that retain the tail lamp assembly to the vehicle.

Tighten
^ Screws to 1.9 N.m (17 lb in).
