Supplemental Restraint System (SRS)

The SRS symbol is used on schematics to alert the technician to the following important caution:

CAUTION: This vehicle is equipped with a Supplemental Restraint System. Refer to CAUTIONS in Air Bags and Seat Belts and the SRS Component and Wiring Location view in Air Bags and Seat Belts before performing service on or around SRS components or wiring. Failure to follow CAUTIONS could result in possible air bag deployment, personal injury, or otherwise unneeded SRS system repairs.
