Power Distribution Relay: Testing and Inspection
Normally-open type:1. Check for continuity between the terminals.
^ There should be continuity between the No. 1 and No. 3 terminals when power and ground are connected to the No. 2 and No. 4 terminals.
^ There should be no continuity between the No. 1 and No. 3 terminals when power is disconnected.
Radiator Fan Relay/Power Window Relay/Blower Motor Relay:
^ Radiator fan relay
^ Power window relay
^ Blower motor relay
ABS Pump Motor Relay:
^ ABS pump motor relay
Condenser Fan Relay/A/C Compressor Clutch Relay/Wiper Motor Relay/wiper High Relay:
^ Condenser fan relay

^ Wiper high relay
Horn Relay/Cigarette Lighter Relay/A/T Reverse Relay/ABS Front Fail-safe Relay/ABS Rear Fail-safe Relay:

1. Check for continuity between the terminals.
^ There should be continuity between the No. 1 and No. 3 terminals when power is not connected to the No. 2 and No. 4 terminals.
^ There should be no continuity between the No. 1 and No. 3 terminals when power and ground are connected to the No. 2 and No. 4 terminals.
Condenser Fan Relay/A/C Compressor Clutch Relay/Wiper Motor Relay/wiper High Relay:
^ Wiper low relay
Five-terminal type:
1. Check for continuity between the terminals.
^ There should be continuity between the No. 1 and No. 2 terminals when power and ground are connected to the No. 3 and No. 5 terminals.
^ There should be continuity between the No. 2 and No. 4 terminals when power is disconnected.
Dimmer Relay:
^ Dimmer relay
Intermittent Wiper Relay-Relay Test:
^ Intermittent wiper relay
^ Sunroof open relay
^ Sunroof close relay
^ Low beam cut relay
