Poor Brake Action

POSSIBLE CAUSE
1. Master cylinder faulty.
Correction - Correct or replace.

2. Power cylinder faulty.
Correction - Correct or replace.

3. Level of brake fluid in reservoir too low.
Correction - Replenish and bleed.

4. Air in hydraulic circuit.
Correction - Bleed.

5. Front disc brake caliper faulty.
Correction - Clean or replace.

6. Rear brake wheel cylinder faulty.
Correction - Clean or replace.

7. Water or oil on brake pads or linings.
Correction - Clean or replace.

8. Brake pads or linings hardened.
Correction - Resurface or replace.

9. Brake pads or linings in poor contact with rotor or brake drum.
Correction - Correct.

10. Brake pads or linings worn.
Correction - Replace.

11. Brake disc or drum rusted.
Correction - Grind or replace.

12. Check valve in vacuum hose faulty.
Correction - Correct or replace.
