SERVICE INFORMATION
As a follow up from the 2.2L HEC Engine - Timing Belt Replacement Service Campaign 01I-002 (Refer to SBO1-01-S001), American Isuzu Motors Inc. (AIMI), would like to request that the following parts be removed from your parts inventory. In the Service Bulletin SB01-01-S001, we listed new parts required for replacement of the HEC Timing Belt for the 2.2L 4cyl engine on 1998 - 2000 Rodeo (UE) and Amigo (UA) models. Since we require the "NEW" HEC Timing Belt (included in Timing Belt Kit P/N 2-90000-915-0) to be installed, the following parts must be destroyed/scrapped or returned before a reimbursement is issued.
The "OLD" Timing Belt part numbers are as shown.
For dealers that report to the Business Resource Center (BRC), please return all OLD Timing Belts in dealer inventory and the completed form to the BRC.
NOTE:
Send old belts freight prepaid, a freight allowance has been established and should be indicated on the reimbursement form.
