SERVICE INFORMATION

Condition:
Preliminary reports revealed that some X22SE unit may contain contaminated engine lubrication oil at the time of shipping.

Correction:
In order to prevent any oil-related conditions and to ensure proper operation during the break-in period, Isuzu dealers are requested to perform the special oil change service procedures in this bulletin.

SPECIAL NOTE:
The following corrective Engine Oil Contamination procedure has been performed on certain vehicles upon arrival at the port. These completed vehicles can be identified by a wholesale date after 4/16/98, along with a blue dot. This blue dot is visible from a sitting position in the driver's seat and is located in the upper left-hand corner on the inside surface of the windshield. The vehicles that meet these criteria do not need to have the Engine Oil Contamination procedure performed on them.
