Service Procedure

The following procedure applies to both the
left and right side rear passenger seat belts.

1. Remove the plastic cover of the rear shoulder belt's upper attachment point, located on the rear seat belt bar.

2. Remove the upper anchor bolt of the rear shoulder belt.





3. Cut and remove the (thin, black-colored) circular clip washer. (Figure 1)

4. Observe the attachment sequence order of the support washers and the fastening bolt. (Figure 1)

^ The circular clip retaining-washer (from Step 3) is not used during reassembly.

5. Install the new (approx. 10 mm longer at the thread) bolt and torque to 29 lbs. ft (39 N.m.).

6. Re-install the plastic cover.
Repeat Steps 1 through 6 for the remaining side of the rear passenger compartment.

APPLYING THE CAMPAIGN LABEL

1. Using a ball-point pen, fill out the following information on a campaign label (Part # 2-90028-700-0).

^ Dealer Code

^ Repair Date: (Month/Day/Year)





2. Affix the campaign label adjacent to the manufacturer's identification label located on the drivers side B-pillar.
