Control Assembly: Testing and Inspection
NOTE: Before performing the following test, make sure the cooling system is properly filled and operating properly and that no mechanical problem exists with the temperature valve.

CIRCUIT OPERATION
TEMPERATURE CONTROL
The Air Temperature Valve Sensor positions the temperature door according to the temperature setting of the temperature control on the temperature control /mob. For the full cold temperature setting, the temperature control returns approximately 1.0 Volt to the Air Temperature Valve Sensor. When the temperature setting is changed to full HOT, the temperature door is moved to the warm position, and the output rises to about 12 Volts. For a temperature setting in the mid range, the temperature door positions itself according to the voltage supplied through the temperature control switch. Should the motor stall when changing the door location, voltage is removed by the Heater Controller / Heater and A/C Controller after 45 seconds to protect the motor.
