Enabling the SRS

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position and remove the key.
2. Yellow 2-way SRS connector and GPA retainer at the base of the steering column.
3. Knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement.
4. AIR BAG fuse to the instrument panel fuse block.
- Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position and verify that the SRS warning lamp flashes seven times and then turns off. If it does not operate as described, perform the SRS Diagnostic System Check in SRS.
