Passlock System Components

The Passlock TM System is designed to Deter vehicle theft by disabling the fuel injection system unless the Ignition Lock Cylinder is correctly engaged by an ignition key and if the BCM sends a Class 2 serial data password to the PCM / VCM which is the same as the last learned password. The components of this system are Passlock TM Sensor, Ignition Lock Cylinder, Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC), Body Control Module (BCM) and Powertrain Control Module (PCM) / Vehicle Control Module (VCM).
