Door Switch: Service and Repair

Remove or Disconnect
1. Battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notes.
2. Instrument panel sound insulator, right side only. Refer to instrument Panel Sound insulator Replacement in interior Trim.
3. Reach up and disconnect the electrical connector.
4. Door jamb switch from the vehicle. Squeeze the locking tabs to release the switch.







Install or Connect
1. Door jamb switch to the vehicle. Fully seat the locking tabs.
2. Electrical connector to the switch.
3. Instrument panel sound insulator, right side only. Refer to instrument Panel Sound insulator Replacement in interior Trim.
4. Battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notes.
