Backup Lamp: Description and Operation

Voltage is supplied to the backup lamps when the ignition is in RUN and the backup lamps switch is closed. There are two fuses in the circuit. B/U LP fuse in the underhood bussed electrical center (UBEC) protects the circuit between the B/U LP fuse and the VEH B/U fuse. The VEH B/U fuse protects the circuit between the UBEC and the backup lamps.
