High Mount Stop Lamp Replacement

Remove or Disconnect
1. Battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notes.
2. Dome lamp lens by squeezing lens to release tabs.
3. Dome lamp bulb from the base.
4. Screws that retain the dome lamp base to the high mount stop lamp from inside the vehicle.
5. Dome lamp base from the vehicle.
6. Body wiring harness from the high mount stop lamp.
7. High mount stop lamp from the vehicle.




Install or Connect
1. High mount stop lamp to the vehicle.
2. Body wiring harness to the high mount stop lamp.
3. Dome lamp base to the vehicle.
4. Screws that retain the dome lamp base to the high mount stop lamp from inside the vehicle.

Tighten
- Screws that retain the dome lamp base to the high mount stop lamp to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).

5. Dome lamp bulb to the base.
6. Dome lamp lens by squeezing lens to engage tabs.
7. Battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notes.
